Gift Request

Santa at computerA young boy from Massachusetts made quite an impression on me today as he presented his Christmas gift requests. After listening to his long list, I said: “Santa might have to pick and choose from that list. Would that be alright with you?” Right away, he said: “Sure, Santa. If I don’t get everything on my list, then I’ll be thankful for what I have.” I told him that was the right spirit to have, and that I was proud of him for feeling that way.

Did you know you can visit with Santa via Skype or phone call?  That’s right….. Santa can sing along with you or read you a Christmas story. Keep up with the website to find out when he will resume all calls.

I’m so glad to report the boy I met today is on Santa’s Good List. When I told his grandpa about it, he was very proud of his grandson and asked, “Did he really say that on his own?” Indeed, we are never too young to learn to be content with what we have.

Blessings,

Santa

Special Delivery

I saw a little boy named Cash. He was full of life, photogenic and curious about all things Santa. (especially Santa’s beard) I asked his mom if she could tell me a “Cash Story.” Right away, she said, “Yes! he’s our miracle baby.” She and her husband had been trying to have a baby, and were beginning to fear they were running out of time. They never gave up hope! Then, after fourteen years, they heard the good news: A Baby Was On The Way, and Cash was that Special Delivery Miracle Baby.

Every baby’s birth is a special delivery because life is so precious. I am reminded of that truth every time I see the wide-eyed innocence of a little child. May the Life, Love and Light of this Christmas Season come to your home by Special Delivery.

Thomas Is Noticed Again

Aunt Rebecca called and said, “I have another ‘Thomas Story’ for you, Santa.” I was intrigued, and couldn’t wait to hear what 6 year old Thomas was up to, so I took a little break and listened intently as Auntie told me Close upabout her lunch date with Thomas’ family

It was raining in Houston that day, with scattered showers, so you never knew when you were going to need an umbrella. It’s a good thing Aunt Becki keeps two umbrellas in her car, because she was able to share them with Thomas and his family as they walked from the car to the restaurant.

When they got inside, Aunt Becki was carrying the two umbrellas. Thomas noticed and said, “It looks like you need some help, Aunt Becki. Let me hold them.” He held them about as long as a 6 yr. old can, but remember, “It’s the thought that counts.”

Santa At The Mall

Santa Waving Close up

From Mid-November ’til Christmas Eve. Santa will appear at shopping malls, car dealerships and a variety of retail stores, parties, hospital and home visits and other community events. He always appreciates the opportunity to share the JOY of the Season.

Even shopping takes on a happier tone when the Christmas Music starts to play and the shoppers are motivated by a spirit of love and generosity. People seem to take on the spirit of giving as they search for treasures to share with their loved ones. This keeps Santa and his helpers very busy.

It does my heart good when YOU do something nice for someone else. I love to see that happen, even at the mall, as I wave and share a Ho-Ho-Ho…..Merry Christmas!

Santa

Two Little Boys

Santa Waving Close upThis story is about Thomas and Blaise Bohannon of Houston, TX. I like watching these two brothers in action. Well, let me tell you how they surprised their dad one day. They were feeling chilly as they were waiting to be seated at an air conditioned restaurant. Their dad said it was o.k. for the boys to wait outside on the porch where they could warm up.

Thomas and Blaise went in and out a couple of times, and the last time they came in, they left the door open. Dad rushed over to give the boys “The Look” and he saw that they were intensely focused on an elderly man in a wheel chair being pushed up the ramp. He then, went back to wait in line, and did nothing to prevent the boys from holding the door for someone in need.

The neat thing about Thomas and Blaise is the fact that they decided all on their own to help the elderly man. It is never too early to practice random acts of kindness.

Two Little Girls

Close upI was inquiring about two girls who are best buds. Soraya and Isabella are together most of the time. When you see one you see the other. I was reminded of a time last year that created a “Near Miss” for one of the girls.

Back to the story…..It was last year, just before Christmas, and 5 year old,Soraya and 6 year old Isabella were playing. After awhile Soray’s Gramma felt like she needed to step in and say something. She asked Isabella: “Aren’t you being a little bossy?” To this, Isabella stood up straight, put her hands on her hips and said, “I’m not bossy, I’m giving directions!”

After that “Close Call”, both girls ended up on the nice list and received lots of presents from Santa. Remember, it’s not only what you DO that counts, but also what you SAY.

Love,

Santa

138 Days ‘Til Christmas

As the calendar and clock keep time with the countdown to Christmas, so Santa’s Workshop starts to run like a well-oiled machine. The elves and their helpers are working diligently to fill their time with top production goals in order to make sure every child has a gift that will put a smile on his or her face. Santa is even using the computer to make more contacts than ever before. Did you know you can visit with Santa via Skype or phone call? No matter what happens in the world throughout the year, you can count on Santa Claus to bring laughter and cheer to brighten your day. That is one of the best gifts you can ever give, too. I am so glad to see that the names on the Nice List far out-number the names on the Naughty List.

This makes me very happy and shows me that most of you are keeping Christmas in your heart all year long.

Counting The Days,

Santa

Harmony In The Workshop

Close up

The elves are working very hard to prepare for the Christmas rush. There are new toys to be tested, advertised and put on display. It’s quite a process, getting from the idea stage to the final delivery to all the hopeful boys and girls and their families.

I’m watching a very busy helper who works in transportation. She manages the shipment of thousands of presents that get delivered on Christmas Eve. If it were not for helpers like Ms. Vicki, (some of you know her as Aunt Lick) there would be lots of presents that might not get to the North Pole in time for delivery. Thank you Ms. Vicki for doing your part in making dreams come true.

Santa gets to have all the fun, while the elves and their helpers get to work hard and bring it all together. It all starts with a concept, or dream. It could even be your dream! A small group talks about it and comes up with a plan. Then, someone has to make a drawing, decide on the raw materials they will need, develop a form or pattern for all the parts and put it all together, decide on the color and prepare it for shipping.

The end result can be anything from clothing to – toys – games – gadgets – tools –furniture – phones – dolls – bikes – cars – and everything you can possibly think of.

It takes all of us working in harmony in order to make dreams come true.

Love,

Santa

Christmas In July

Santa Waving Close upThis may sound strange, but I’ve heard some of you say you wish we could have some snow because it’s getting too hot. Woah, hold your horses!! We’re only at Mid-Summer… so you’ll have to find other ways to chill.

I was watching JMichael and Sadie in Kernersville, North Carolina last week as they celebrated Christmas In July. In fact, Sadie and I got on Skype and sang Jingle Bells together.  Did you know you can visit with Santa via Skype or phone call?  That’s right….Santa can sing along with you or read you a Christmas story. Come to find out, they have been doing a lot of celebrating lately. Sadie just turned 7 and JMichael recently turned 11, so they had a 7/11 Birthday Bash. Then it was time for Fireworks on July 4th, and after that, it was Christmas In July.

It brought me joy to see how kind, thoughtful and helpful they were to their Nana and Bumpa, and how they made some wise choices for their mom and dad. I also noticed how they included other children in their fun.

This is how you stay on the Nice List, boys and girls.

Love,

Santa

Santa’s Watching!

Close up

You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I’m telling you why….

Santa Claus is coming to town….. before you know it!!

It is Summer at the North Pole but that doesn’t mean we are sitting in the sun.  The elves are busy at work already making some of the more popular toys we know we will need.  I was watching my little buddies, Brock and his big brother Evan, in Turlock, California the other day and I was so proud of the sportsmanship they were showing in their baseball games.  I see good things coming their way.  I know they will be with their Grammy and Grandpa this Christmas in Florida so I will have to find them there.

Did you know you can visit with Santa via Skype or phone call?  That’s right….Santa can sing along with you or read you a Christmas story. Just click on the RED menu button at the top of the page then SELECT “Skype or Call From Santa” to find out how!

Yes, boys and girls, I am watching you all.  It is not just what you do the few months before Christmas but what you do all year round that counts.  Mind your manners, be nice to your parents, always be polite, and treat your friends nice.  SANTA’S WATCHING!!

LOVE,

SANTA
